Mathematical Model for Staff Scheduling to Manage Congestion at Airports

Abstract
A new methodology of integrating optimized solutions, mathematical model has an approach of multi-objective problem solving for airline staff scheduling to manage the passenger flow at airport terminal. These mathematical formulations also focus on complex constraints and rigid boundaries of problem statement and specifications. The thesis model proposed justified solutions set to minimize the operational cost, number of staff and maximize the passenger satisfaction by minimum time in waiting queues. This new mathematical model strongly supports to large number of conflicting constraints and achieve decision making approach of optimization in staff scheduling.
