Retinal Change Detection due to Red Lesions based on Modified Region based Segmentation
This paper presents a Retinal change detection due to red lesions based on modified region based segmentation. Diabetic Retinopathy is a major cause of blindness in the world. The green channel is use for the luminosity. Tracking small retinal changes due to early diabetic retinopathy lesions in longitudinal fundus image sets for the registration process. The LOG filtering is used for the retinal change detection and as well as the diffusion filtering is used for enhancing the image. The contribution of this paper is region based segmentation for detecting the microaneurysms and hemorrhages. In this process no need of any classifier.
