A Review on Different Algorithms used for Control of Shunt Active Filter
In this paper, a review on different algorithms is uses for control of shunt active filter. Shunt active filters are viable solution for power quality problems. Performance of shunt active filter has been correct for better results of electrical power system. Shunt active filter performance mainly depends on two major factors, first on is generation of pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals and second one is reference current estimation. Here, a review on different algorithms is used to extract the reference current for control of shunt active filters. Those algorithms are adaptive control algorithm, model predictive control, repetitive control algorithm and empirical mode decomposition algorithm.
