A Bridgeless DC-DC Converter using Coupled Inductor for High Voltage Application
In this paper, “A bridgeless dc-dc converter using coupled inductor for high voltage application” is proposed. This model converts low input dc voltage to high output dc voltage for photovoltaic system, high-intensity discharge lamp, insulation testing etc. applications. The proposed model employs a coupled inductor which recycles the energy stored in the capacitors avoiding potential resonance between leakage inductance and junction capacitance and also reduces the unexpected input current pulses. The voltage clamping circuit clamps the voltage across MOSFET hence voltage stress across the switch is reduced. The proposed model is built using MATLAB software.
