Paper Title
Indulgence into The Unconventional: What We Can Learn from Probe Report?

Abstract
This paper commences with a question that reverberates through the entire length and breadth of the article and the question is: Is there any such report or initiative, where processes have been given due recognition? The answer to this rhetorical query lies in the PROBE report of 1998. In concurrence with this line of discussion, this research article will focus on the intricacies, methodology, revelations as well as the lacunae, of the said report. It will try to depict the gradual yet uncanny transition from ‘conventional to unconventional’ features of quality of education, especially in the Indian educational context. Though the research question may seem lopsided and rhetorical, the rationale behind indulging in it is not only to discuss the various dimensions of a report, but also to delve into the deeper realm of how ‘processes’, in their most authentic form, should be addressed and studied in the first place.
