Paper Title
FRAGILITY ANALYSIS OF EXISTING HIGHWAY BRIDGE RETROFITTED WITH ALLOY CABLE RESTRAINER
Abstract
Abstract - Bridges are crucial components of the transportation infrastructure because they provide both safe and efficient passage for vehicles and people. However, ageing bridge structure is susceptible to a number of dangers, such as earthquakes and excessive loads, which may lead to weaknesses and issues. The widespread use of retrofitting techniques has increased the stability and resiliency of ancient bridges. This study aims to investigate the vulnerability and loss of an existing highway bridge that has undergone an alloy cable restrainer upgrade. The study includes an examination of the bridge's performance during seismic events. The study's findings provide significant insight into the effectiveness of alloy cable restrainers used in bridge repair operations.
