Cloud Computing Environment using Cryptography
Abstract
Cloud computing offers a solution to everyday computing challenges, with a rising demand driven by the necessity to secure data within this environment. Known for its scalability, dynamism, and easy configurability, cloud computing acts as a platform for dynamic expansion and potential development. This approach entails delivering information over the internet instead of storing vast data files on local memory devices or hard disks. Utilizing servers, storage, databases, networking, and software, the cloud enables users to access services from anywhere, at any time, and at a minimal cost. However, since users don't directly manage data on the cloud, ensuring data security becomes a significant concern. The confidentiality and privacy of client information become crucial. Introducing cryptography addresses this concern, ensuring that sensitive information remains inaccessible and unanalyzed by unauthorized third parties. Hence, this paper aims to underscore the vital role of cryptography within the cloud computing environment and explore its implementation for enhanced security.
