A Comparative Study of VCII Based Capacitance Multipliers in Very Low Frequency Filtering

Abstract
In this presented research, we are introducing a bandpass filter circuit which is designed using voltage conveyors. The aim here is to lower center frequency obtained by this bandpass filter to very low frequency range. The study underlines the role of capacitance multipliers in achieving such a goal. Performance of three capacitance multipliers already available, designed using second generation voltage conveyors, in lowering the center frequency is being compared using simulations done on 180nm technology. The resistors used in these capacitance multipliers will allow the adjustment of the multiplication factor. The findings of this study might be help in diverse fields where low frequency signal filtering is required.
