Review on Detecting Ad Fraud In Digital Marketing Using Machine Learning Techniques
Abstract
Online Advertisement platform helps to generate huge amounts of revenue for Advertiser, Publisher and Ad networks. Ad Fraud is a growing concern for the advertising sector and legitimate publishers because it reduces inventory, loses revenue, and harms brand reputation. Our study begins with the Digital advertising ecosystem states how Advertiser, Publisher and Ad Network interact with each other. We highlighted various types of AdFraud occurs in online advertising platforms like Click fraud,Ad Injection,Fake advertisement impression and many more. ML algorithms become better and better at identifying suspicious patterns and adjusting to new fraud schemes by continuously analyzing and learning from data. This research paper presents a comprehensive review of various ML Techniques employed to combat fraudulent activities in the digital advertising ecosystem.
