KITE SHAPED NANOANTENNA FOR ELECTRIC FIELD ENHANCEMENT

Abstract
In this paper a novel nanoantenna design, termed as the kite-shaped nanoantenna has been proposed and its electric field enhancement capabilities have been analyzed. Simulations of the nanoantenna were performed using the COMSOL Multiphysics Software. Effects of parameters such as length, height, vertex angle and gap size on the field enhancement capabilities of the nanoantenna have been also studied. Furthur, the radiation efficiency of the nanoantenna for different wavelengths has also been analysed. Keywords - Nanoantenna, Electric Field Enhancement, Surface Plasmon Resonance.
