MODULAR-BASED DESIGN IN PANEL BUILDERS

Abstract
Conventional design approaches in the electrical design phase of control panel projects often face challenges related to reusability, speed, change management, and data usability. Modular design serves as an effective solution to these challenges. By leveraging a centrally maintained function library,electrical designers can create circuit diagrams based on established standards, facilitating easy reuse, faster production, error-free change management, and enhanced data usability.Moreover, taking this concept a step further, there is potential to fully automate the creation of circuit diagrams, further amplifying the efficiency and accuracy of the design process.This approach not only streamlines the design phase but also sets the stage for a more agile and adaptable engineering process.
