ROBOTIC MEDICINE DELIVERY SYSTEM: A REVIEW

Abstract
In the field of hospital healthcare, the Autonomous Robotic Medicine Delivery System described in this project serves as a transformative solution by facilitating the efficient supply of medications from the pharmacy or nurse station directly to the patient's doorstep. This innovative system not only saves time but also ensures timely and accurate delivery, providing valuable assistance to both nurses and patients. By deploying the robot, nurses and patients benefit from a streamlined process that optimizes medication distribution within the hospital. This initiative aims to enhance medical support by reducing the workload on nurses, who would traditionally handle the transportation of medicines across different rooms. The robot is equipped with a hospital map, enabling it to navigate seamlessly through various rooms, ensuring precise and reliable delivery to the intended recipients. This project report comprehensively outlines the design, development, and implementation of the Robotic Medicine Delivery System, emphasizing its potential to bring about positive changes in hospital workflows. The system's ability to provide medical and practical assistance underscores its significance in addressing the time-sensitive nature of medication delivery, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and nurse efficiency.
