DIGITAL ENQUIRY ASSISTANTS FOR MODERN CAMPUSES (ASKDSCE)
Abstract
In an era defined by rapid advancements in technology and the widespread use of smartphones, the integration of AI-driven solutions is transforming traditional communication methods. This paper introduces a College Enquiry Chatbot, a state-of-the-art solution built using the RASA framework, to efficiently address and resolve student queries. Leveraging RASA's dual components - Rasa NLU for natural language understanding and Rasa Core for dialogue management - the chatbot interprets user intents, extracts entities, and delivers accurate responses within seconds. Designed for seamless operation on hardware with minimal specifications (i3 processor and 8GB RAM), the system demonstrates an intelligent approach to optimizing query resolution in educational environments. The proposed chatbot not only automates repetitive tasks but also enhances user experience by providing instant, precise information, significantly reducing human effort. This paper delves into the technical implementation, key features, and potential applications of the chatbot, showcasing its role in revolutionizing college enquiry systems and setting a benchmark for future smart campus solutions.
