EFFECT OF LIFESTYLE MODIFICATION ON HEALTH-RELATED QUALITY OF LIFE IN PATIENTS WITH LONG COVID-19 AND PRE-EXISTING LIFESTYLE DISEASES.

Abstract
Aim: This study aims to assess the impact of lifestyle modification on the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in patients with Long Covid-19 and pre-existing lifestyle diseases. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate how a structured lifestyle modification program influences various domains of HRQoL, as measured by the SF-36 questionnaire, in individuals with lifestyle diseases who were also affected with long term symptoms of Covid-19 Methodology: A one-group pre-test and post-test experimental design was employed with 100 patients undergoing an 8-week lifestyle modification program. Results: The findings reveal statistically significant improvements in multiple domains of HRQoL post-implementation of the lifestyle modification program. Key improvements were observed in general health, limitations of activities, physical and emotional health problems, social activities, pain, energy and emotions, social engagement, and overall health. Conclusion: In conclusion, the study provides compelling evidence that lifestyle modification positively influences HRQoL in patients with Long Covid-19and pre-existing lifestyle diseases. These findings emphasize the potential of personalized lifestyle modification programs to enhance the overall well-being of individuals facing poor health related quality of life.
