<strong>Abstract</strong><br>

Here,wereportthesynthesisandcharacterizationof2-hydroxy benzoyl chloride on benzotriazole to generate the intermediate 1H- benzotriazol-1-yl(2-hydroxyphenyl)methanonereportedinLiterature.As a result, the synthesized intermediate 1H-benzotriazol-1-yl(2- hydroxyphenyl)methanonewill couplewithdifferent aromaticdiazonium saltstocreate Benzotriazolederivatives.Thesynthesized derivativeswill be characterized by Physical, Chemical properties, IR, NMR, Mass spectra. The series of derivatives will be screened for antibacterial and antifungal activity.
