Ai-Driven Digital Banking: A Conceptual Framework for Innovation and Environmental Sustainability

Abstract
The banking sector in today’s tech-driven era is leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver digital services that provide a competitive edge and cater to the demand for customized and personalized banking experiences. AI, a sophisticated computing technology, enables the execution of complex tasks that traditionally require human intelligence, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In parallel, sustainable development and the adoption of advanced technologies are becoming critical to the digitalization of banking services. Moreover, integrating AI into banking supports effective risk management, facilitating informed decision-making processes essential for meeting sustainability goals while ensuring robust financial growth. This study aims to demonstrate the significant impact of AI technology on customer satisfaction and loyalty in digital banking, emphasizing its role in driving long-term growth. The desired outcome is the development of a conceptual model based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. This model will connect key themes through a theoretical framework integrating modified service quality dimensions—Reliability, Assurance, Customization, Empathy, and Responsiveness—with enhanced AI technology acceptance elements, including Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Risk, Perceived Trust, and Perceived Benefit. The study utilized a purposive sampling strategy to collect 287 valid responses from banking customers through a structured questionnaire. The data analysis was conducted using PLS4version, ensuring robust evaluation of the proposed model that meet the statistical thresholds, highlighting their effectiveness in improving user satisfaction and fostering continued adoption of AI-enabled digital banking services. This research provides a valuable contribution by refining theoretical framework, and offering actionable insights for researchers, practitioners, and environmentalists. The findings emphasize strategies to enhance digital banking services while promoting environmental sustainability.
