EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF SOCIOECONOMIC FACTORS ON HIGHER EDUCATION ACCESS AND OUTCOMES

Abstract
With an emphasis on outcomes and access, this study attempts to investigate the complex interaction between socioeconomic determinants and higher education. Knowing how socioeconomic factors impact people's capacity to seek higher education and their success afterward is essential in a time when education is increasingly seen as a key mechanism for social mobility and economic growth. Using a multifaceted approach, the study combines quantitative and qualitative approaches to investigate differences in participation and achievement in higher education. Through the examination of information pertaining to parental education, income, geography, and other socioeconomic factors, the research aims to identify the factors affecting educational opportunities and outcomes. These mechanisms include social capital, academic preparedness, and financial difficulties. The findings ultimately seek to improve our understanding of the nuances pertaining to higher education outcomes and access, providing crucial information for institutions, instructors, and legislators committed to promoting fair access to high-quality higher education.
