PLANT DISEASE DETECTION USING ML
Abstract
We know that there is continuous increase in de- mand for food products so damage to crops can have global effect. The main reason for plant damage is diseases which include fungi, bacteria, pests and adverse environmental conditions. To make informed decisions on methods to cure or prevent such diseases the first step is to identify the type of disease. This paper explores Machine Learning to identify said diseases and the social and eco- nomic benefit of implementing it. Our proposed paper discusses various stages of disease detection such as creating dataset, Image Processing, Training the Model and Implementation. The paper emphasizes the positive correlation between impact of Machine Learning in determining plant health on Gross Domestic Product of an economy and accomplishing overall utilization of Machine Learning algorithm in identification along with classification of plant diseases.
