Enhancing LoRa WAN: Enabling Efficient Node-to-Node Communication Through Cloud Integration

Abstract
This review paper critically examines the current state of LoRaWAN technology with a focus on enhancing network performance through the integration of direct node-to-node communication and cloud databases. Itsynthesizes existing literature to highlight the limitations of traditional device-to-cloud models, such as high latency, network congestion, scalability challenges, andsecurityvulnerabilities. By evaluating various research approaches, the paper outlines innovative methods to enable efficient, secure, and real-time communication between IoT nodes. Additionally, it discusses the potential of integrating emerging technologies—such as AI-driven adaptive protocols, edge computing, and advanced security mechanisms—to overcome these challenges and improve overall system robustness. The review concludes by identifying future researchdirectionsthatcouldpavethewayfornext-generation,scalable,and resilientLoRaWAN-based IoT networks.. In the rapidly evolving landscape of the Internet of Things (IoT), efficient communication between devices is paramount for enablingreal-timeinteractionsand decision-making. This paper addresses the limitationsofexistingLoRaWANimplementations..
