Compact Multiband PIFA Antenna for Enhanced V2x Communication
Abstract
A planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) is an ideal solution for automotive applications operating below 10 GHz, providing a compact design and high performance for efficient Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication. V2X communication facilitates data exchange between vehicles, pedestrians, and infrastructure, enhancing road safety and improving passenger infotainment and car manufacturer services. The PIFA antenna features a unique three-part structure top, front, and back, optimizing its function in multiband V2X communication. This design is crucial for the integration of antennas into modern vehicles, where space is often limited. The antenna's compact size allows placement in constrained areas while effectively operating at high frequencies and offering broad bandwidth for diverse applications. With minimized Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) and maximum gain, it excels in V2X communications. This antenna serves as a reliable, efficient solution, offering flexibility and performance that are well-suited for automotive applications.
