Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of a Smart Home Security System utilizingRaspberryPi-4.The system integrates multiple sensors to detect intrusions, gas leaks, fire hazards, and environmental changes, and sends real-time alerts via voice and SMS notifications. This project offers a cost- effective and efficient home security solution without relying on video surveillance, making it ideal for budget- conscious users who prioritize safety and automation. Multifunctional Sensors for Comprehensive Security: The system integrates various sensors motion, gas, smoke, temperature, and environmental sensors to monitor and detect a wide range of threats, including intrusions, gas leaks, fire hazards, and environmental changes like temperature fluctuations or air quality issues. Real-Time Alerts via Voice and SMS: The system sends immediate notifications to the homeowner through voice and SMS alerts, ensuring that they are promptly informed of any detected risks, even when they are away from home, enhancing both security and peace of mind. Affordable and Efficient Solution: The system uses a Raspberry Pi 4, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional video surveillance systems, providing comprehensive home security without the need for expensive hard ware, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious users.
