Paper Title
The Impact of Women's Land Ownership on Sustainable Agricultural Practices in India

Abstract
Women's land ownership plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable agricultural practices in India, influencing food security, environmental conservation, and rural development. Despite their significant contributions to agriculture, women often face legal, social, and economic barriers to land ownership, limiting their decision-making power and access to resources. This paper examines the impact of women's land rights on the adoption of sustainable farming techniques, including organic farming, crop diversification, and soil conservation. Drawing on case studies and empirical data, the study highlights how secure land tenure for women enhances productivity, fosters climate resilience, and ensures better management of natural resources. It also explores policy interventions and grassroots initiatives that support women farmers in overcoming systemic challenges. Strengthening women's land ownership rights is not only a matter of gender equity but also a catalyst for achieving sustainable agricultural development in India. The findings underscore the need for legal reforms, capacity-building programs, and financial support to empower women in agriculture, ultimately contributing to global food security and environmental sustainability.
