Paper Title
IoT Based Smart Water Quality Monitoring and Management System
Abstract
Scarcity of water is becoming a pressing global issue, primarily due to rapid population growth, urbanization, and wastage caused by inefficient use. Conventional water management systems do not provide optimal use and conservation and also contribute to wastage in most cases. The present paper considers an IoT-based Smart Water Management System that utilizes contemporary technology to track and manage water resources efficiently. It employs sensors to monitor several parameters like water level, flow rate, and quality. The collected data is sent in real-time to a cloud platform over the Internet. This allows users and authorities to make informed decisions based on data for improved water distribution and usage. The system employs automation to control supply and avoid overuse or leakage. It can also identify anomalies such as unauthorized use or pipeline damage. Smart notifications and analytics encourage awareness and effective use. The system intends to offer a sustainable, inexpensive solution to contemporary water management issues.
