Paper Title
Virtual Interview Dynamics: Analyzing Confidence, Emotion, and Personality through Voice and Facial Expressions

Abstract
Today's hiring environment tends to pick and choose the best technical skills and miss out on the big picture of a person's fit within an organization. Emotional Intelligence (EI) — the capacity for recognizing, managing, and responding to emotions — is a determinant of a candidate's interpersonal competencies, flexibility, and collaboration. But, trying to gauge EI from conventional interviews proves subjective and vulnerable to human biases. This article proposes a system that will help recruiters assess the emotional intelligence of a candidate more objectively through the examination of facial expressions and tone of voice in video interviews. Through observation of behavior patterns and emotional reactions, this solution offers insights into the confidence, emotional stability, and communicative ability of the candidate. Providing such a systematic, objective, and data-based assessment technique may improve the recruitment process and make the candidate's personality better aligned with the company culture. The method not only enhances hiring decision-making but also provides new avenues for emotional behavior analysis in many real-time situations. Limitations and possible future enhancements are explored to provide a foundation for further development in this area.
