Paper Title
Smart Wheelchair using Hand Gesture
Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of a Smart Wheelchair system that enables individuals with limited mobility to control a wheelchair using simple hand gestures. The system uses accelerometer sensors mounted on the user's hand to capture gesture data. This data is then processed by a microcontroller and translated into directional commands (forward, backward, left, right) for the motorized wheelchair. The approach enhances accessibility and independence for physically challenged individuals. The system is cost-effective, user-friendly, and has potential for real-world application in healthcare environments.
