Paper Title
Design and Analysis of H-Shaped DRA with 3 Dumbbell Shape DGS for Wide Band Applications

Abstract
The objective of this work is to design and analyze a H-shaped DRA with DGS, apply the DGS concept and study the response of the microstrip patch antenna (MPA) due to this DGS. The accomplished Dumbbell DGS is included as a part of a whole in the ground plane under the patch antenna to improve its performances. An archetype of the antenna was fabricated with the FR4 substrate and simulated. A FEM based electromagnetic solver, Ansoft HFSS is used for analysis of the result. The proposed antenna is outlined to operate over frequency range from 3.6 GHz to 17.5 GHz. Various measurable factors are acquired which comprises Gain, Radiation pattern, Directivity and S-parameter. It is inferred by means of simulation results that thee design is favorable and results are within normal range that is which covers Wide band characteristics which point out that the antenna is a good candidate for diverse wide band applications. The design is carried out at the solution frequency band: Ku Band, centering at 18 GHz. A dumbbell slot is integrated in ground plane which is excited using a 50ohm Microstrip line.
