Decentralized Crowd funding Platform Utilizing Block Chain Technology
Abstract
Crowdfunding platforms have revolutionized the fundraising landscape for individuals and organizations, catering to a diverse array of causes, from creative ventures to charitable initiatives. However, traditional platforms grapple with significant challenges, including centralization, censorship, and elevated transaction fees. These platforms operate under a central authority, which may limit or deny campaigns perceived as unworthy or contrary to platform policies, thereby undermining the principle of decentralization. This paper presents a decentralized crowdfunding platform powered by blockchain technology that aims to overcome these hurdles by removing intermediaries, reducing transaction fees, and enhancing transparency. Utilizing smart contracts, this platform autonomously oversees campaign creation, donation processing, and fund distribution, allowing direct interaction between donors and campaign owners without the need for a trusted third party.
