Abstract
The Fiber optic communication networks has brought about significant changes in the space of high-speed data transmission, with unmatched bandwidth, minimum latency, and extended-range propagation of signals. Improvement and optimization of fiber optic links have emerged as a necessary focus area for research against the backdrop of increasingly insatiable demands for efficient and reliable networks. proposed and implemented work in this report,”Software Tool For Analysis Of Fiber Optic Link ” addresses link performance assessment, especially for signal loss, attenuation, dispersion, and, generally, the overall efficiency of links; it will integrate real-time analysis and simulation to allow the assessment of link health and find the points of potential degradation. This tool gives insight into such parameters as power levels in the optical, bit error rates, and the effects of outside noises.It itself can self-diagnose problems with suggestions of specific remedies. Since such network administrators and engineers like to keep such networks running effectively and reliably with high performance fiber optic communication systems, this will be helpful to them.
