Lessons From Covid-19: The Future of Hybrid Aquaculture –Agriculture Education: -A Case Study of Aquaculture & Agriculture Department in the University of Bhopal

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic brought about a rapid and unexpected transition from traditional face-to-face instruction to online education across higher education institutions globally. This shift posed significant challenges to disciplines requiring hands-on experience, including aquaculture, Agriculture and other allied science. However, it also opened new opportunities for integrating technology into teaching and learning. This paper explores the experiences of faculty, students, and non-teaching staff in an aquaculture& agriculture departmentsfor the pandemic time and post pandemic, assesses the effectiveness of online tools, and proposes a sustainable model for hybrid aquaculture education. This case study examines how the Department of Aquaculture & Agriculture at Sage University adapted to hybrid education models after the pandemic and navigated the shift to hybrid education. It aims to understand the lessons learned during the pandemic and explore how these experiences can inform the future of teaching and learning in aquaculture & agricultural education. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study identifies best practices, challenges, and institutional needs for implementing a future-ready hybrid education framework.
