IoT Based Smart Parking Management System for Centralized Business Development Area.
Abstract
Nowadays, with the increasing population growth, traffic congestion is increasing. The use of personal vehicles has also increased compared to the population. Due to the increase in the use of cars, traffic congestion occurs on the roads. Most people prefer personal vehicles over public transport. In most metropolitan areas, finding a parking space in commercial areas, especially during rush hour, is very difficult and time-consuming. Finding a suitable and safe parking space is expensive in almost every major city. The proposed project is an IoT based smart parking system using ultrasonic sensors that provide information to people searching for parking spaces online. This project is a time-consuming and unnecessary problem in finding parking spaces in parking areas. Therefore, this project-based system provides a website where users can view various parking areas and book spaces from available slots.
