Potential of Sanchi As A Tourism Center for Local Community To Enhance Their Livelihood

Abstract
This study was conducted in Sanchi, Madhya Pradesh to know the potential of Sanchi as a tourism center for local community to enhance their livelihood. The work was focused mainly in this region due to its worldwide recognition contrary to status of poverty. The study was con- ducted in peak season when there were many tourists. It is based on the information gathered through interviews of 150 tourists and other stake holders and other sources
