Among the fungal diseases infecting soybean crop, anthracnose / pod blight caused by Colletotrichum truncatum is one of the most important and destructive disease. The survey studies indicated that the anthracnose / pod blight was of common occurrence and distributed throughout all eight districts of the Marathwada region. During Kharif 2011, average anthracnose intensity and per cent pod infection in the eight districts surveyed were ranged from 27.75 (Jalna) to 38.88 (Hingoli) per cent and 29.90 (Jalna) to 42.32 (Hingoli) respectively and during Kharif 2012, average anthracnose intensity and per cent pod infection were ranged from 29.85 (Jalna) to 38.98 (Parbhani) per cent and 30.10 (Jalna) to 41.50 (Parbhani) per cent respectively. Keywords - Survey, Pod blight, Anthracnose Intensity per cent, Colletotrichum truncatum.
