Paper Title
Experimental Investigation of CNC End Milling of Aluminium using Taguchi Method

Abstract
End milling is the most significant milling operation in manufacturing world. It has been widely used due to its ability of producing complex geometrical shapes. However, with the inventions of CNC end milling machine, the flexibility has been adopted along with versatility in end milling process. In this paper, an attempt has been made to study the material removal rate (MRR) and cutting force in CNC end milling process. Aluminium has been taken as a substrate in this study. A Taguchi L-9 orthogonal array is employed to investigate the process by varying process parameters like spindle speed, feed and depth of cut. A set of best possible combination of process parameters on two output parameters like MRR and cutting force has been developed. Moreover, analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used to identify the relative importance among the process parameters. The ANOVA results shows that the most important process parameter is depth of cut followed by feed rate and spindle speed which affects the optimization of the output parameters.
