Rietveld Refinement and Electrical Properties of 0.9(Bi0.8Sr0.2FeO3)-0.1(Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3) Ceramics
Abstract
The investigation on the structural and electrical properties of 0.9(Bi0.8Sr0.2FeO3)-0.1(Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3)
polycrystalline ceramic sample prepared by conventional solid state reaction method is presented here. The crystalline phase
(rhombohedral symmetry with R3c space group) of the prepared sample was recognized with the help of X-ray diffraction
data using Rietveld analysis. Dielectric measurements were performed on the prepared composition in the frequency range
10Hz-5MHz at different temperatures. Ac conductivity variation with frequency revealed the presence of Jonscher power
law. The activation energy values are less than 1 confirming the contribution of oxygen ion vacancies to the conduction as
well as relaxation processes.
