Energy Management System using Supercapacitor

Abstract
Now a day, engine with internal combustion are affecting our health as well as environment. So, to overcome this problem electric vehicle is better option. Electric vehicles are better solution to overcome both energy crisis and environmental issues since it is less costly and 100% environmental friendly. In this paper we have focused on use of supercapacitor, which is energy storing device for running electric vehicle via boost converter. In this paper, performance of both supercapacitor and servo motor is presented using boost converter in MATLAB Simulink software. Keywords - Supercapacitor, DC-DC Converter, Energy management system
