Paper Title
Standalone DFIG based DC System for Battery Charging through a 3 Phase Controlled Rectifier
Abstract
The stator voltages and currents in a standalone DFIG based DC system will be distorted. In this paper, proposed a new topology for DFIG, which will be suitable for DC micro grids. The stator side is connected to a 3 phase controlled rectifier/diode bridge rectifier; the DC voltage is maintained constant with the help of a Battery. The excess power from the stator side is fed to charge a battery. In this topology, the conventional Grid side converter is removed, the cost can be reduced. System topology is implemented with the help of MATLAB/simulink software.
