Talent Management and Organizational Performance in Nepalese Commercial Banks: A Mediating Role of Climate for Creativity
Abstract
The research is conducted to examine the mediating role of talent management on organizational performance in Nepalese commercial banks. It also determines how the talent management affects organizational performance. A sample of 255 employees working in Nepalese commercial banks has been selected using stratified sampling technique from fifteen banks out of twenty eight commercial banks based on operating more than ten years. The employees have been chosen consisting of lower level managers, middle level managers and higher level managers. Data analysis was diagnosed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and path analysis. The study has used SPSS AMOS 21 for analyzing data collected from different banks employees working in Kathmandu valley. The result reveals that talent management has its significant influence on organizational performance. The climate for creativity mediates the effects of talent management on organizational performance in Nepalese commercial banks. The findings are discussed with a view to improve the organizational performance in Nepalese banking sector. Modern organizational have found to have given much attention on talent management for the improvement of overall organizational performance at global level.
