Paper Title
Oxygen Desorption Properties of Strontium Cobalt Oxide Powder

Abstract
Attempt was made here to synthesized strontium cobalt oxide by decomposition of sol – gel derived oxalate at 1000 oC for 10 h in air. This obtained product was analyzed by x-ray diffraction and further examined by FT-IR. It shows different types of absorption band indicate the formation of oxalate and pure phase of oxides. The temperature programmed desorption studies show that the oxygen was dissolved inside the lattice oxides. These properties indicate the suitability of oxide materials for oxygen permeation application. Keywords - Oxides; Perovskite-type structure; Oxygen desorption; FT-IR
