Speed Synchronization of Multiple AC Motors
Abstract
Developing era of synchronization of multiple motors is more significant nowadays in various industrial applications. If the motors are not properly synchronized then it may result in non- uniform operations. Differential speed error among multiple motors during speed synchronization leads to power losses and reduction in efficiency of batch production in many industries like textile mills, paper mills, robotics, etc. This necessitates to achieve proportional speed control and synchronization among multiple motors with different operating loads on different motors. The main requirement in industry is to operate motor at different load and different speed, to drive mechanical load where synchronization plays main role for continuous and reliable working. This paper mainly represents Simulink model of speed synchronization with different loading conditions.
