An AQI based Approach for Classification of Air Quality using Machine Learning Techniques

Abstract
The quality of air deteriorates by various sources which release harmful pollutants in the air. To control the rising quantities of air pollutants, it is necessary to generate awareness amongst the public and implement strict laws and schemes like Odd-Even rule adopted in Delhi. One of the major causes of death is caused due to air pollution. This paper proposes an approach for AQI (Air Quality Index) based Approach for Classification of Air Quality using Random Forest and Multi-Layer Perceptron.
