Paper Title
Effect of Pitch to Diameter Ratio on Film Cooling Performance of Reversed Injection Holes

Abstract
The film cooling performance is one of the effective technique of cooling of gas turbine blades and combustion chamber liner. In this work, film cooling performance of reversed injection holes is investigated for the blowing ratio (M) and the pitch to diameter ratio (P/d) by using ANSIS 15 Fluent software. The blowing ratio (M) is varied from 0.5 to 3 and the pitch to diameter ratio (P/d) is varied as 2, 3, 4.5 and 8.3. In reversed injection holes, the centerline effectiveness is found highest for blowing ratio (M) equal to 1. The geometry with P/d = 2 has found higher centerline effectiveness compared to 3, 4.5 and 8.3 and at high blowing ratio (M) equal to 3 the geometry with P/d = 3 showed same performance as that of P/d = 2.
