Paper Title
CBR Value of Subgrade Made by Stone Dust Blended with Coarse Aggregate

Abstract
CBR is often used as a test value for civil engineers, especially for those who are in the pavement construction to reach the hardness modulus of sub grade and shear strength. This is actually an indirect measure which represents the power of a crushed rock in the form of percentage value. Generally, CBR values are used to design the thickness of the pavement on the sub grade by the pavement engineers. In the present study CBR tests were carried out on the stone dust blended with coarse aggregate of size 10 mm and 20 mm to improve the subgrade characteristics of pavements. Coarse aggregate of various sizes were being mixed with stone dust with varying percentage in order to determine CBR value of mixes being prepared. The stone dust sample was prepared and tested without mixing coarse aggregate. Then coarse aggregate of size 10 mm with varying percentage starting from 5% to 30% was mixed with stone dust and prepared in the mould for further testing. Varying percentage of coarse aggregate of size 20 mm from 5% to 30% mixed with stone dust mould was prepared and tested to determine CBR value. The result shows that with the increase in percentage of coarse aggregate mixed with stone dust the CBR value also increases. Keywords - CBR Value, Subgarde, Stone Dust, Coarse Aggregate
