Review: Impact of Climate and Environment on the Crop Production using Data Mining Techniques

Abstract
The agriculture sector is the largest livelihood in India, specifically in rural India. It has contributed to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country significantly. But the farmers have to face a lot of risks as agriculture depends on factors like rainfall, temperature, soil quality, precipitation, evapotranspiration, humidity and many others for a good yield. To avoid this risk, researchers have carried out certain works using Data Mining to retrieve the information from the previous data. This will help in finding and innovating new methods and technologies that will help the farmers in estimating the crop yield. This paper focuses to examine how varying data mining techniques can help study the effect of the above-mentioned factors on the production of different crops.
