Comparison of Laravel and Zend Frameworks (PHP7)

Abstract
Throughout the years PHP has developed into a popular and powerful language for the web applications. Without a framework, PHP-controlled web applications can be messed up and almost difficult to maintain or extend. A framework that can manage the sessions, consists of ORM, in-built templates and authentication spare the time of the developer by giving the segments that are vital in most web applications. This study compares the PHP7 supported frameworks of Laravel 5.6, Zend Framework 3 for the web application of a contact diary. The tests were performed using the Apache JMeter benchmarking tool. Contingent upon the consequences of the conducted tests, recommendations are made that aid the web engineers in choosing a reasonable system for this real-time web applications.
