Paper Title
Soil Compaction
Abstract
• Compaction of soils is a major construction activity in civil engineering, and particularly in the transport industry.
• In geotechnical engineering, soil compaction is the process in which stress is applied to a soil causes densification as there is displayed from the poles between the soil grains.
• When stresses is applied that causes densification due to water being displayed displaced from between the soil grains grain, the consolidation, not, is occurred.
• Soil particles are artificially rearranged and packed closely by mechanical means. Soil compaction is generally done to enhance the soil engineering property.
