Female Bildungsroman- Resisting Coinsurance to Masculine Subjectivity: A Reflective Analysis of Braided Lives and Cat’s Eye

Abstract
Fundamentally, similar to some other narrative style Bildungsroman is a multi-layered story design. Radicalism, women's liberation, and political activism are the strands that have influenced Marge Piercy and Margaret Atwood’s creative life for as far back as a quarter-century. For what reason would female say they were not forever deformed by the tremendous weights toward similarity, the female persona, the unbending sex jobs, the huge talk classes, the organization pins and cashmere sweater sets, the race to accomplish marriage before the part of the bargain years? This research article is an investigation of select female Bildungsroman of two books, i.e., Cat's Eye and Braided Lives, investigating how gender connections as far as female consciousness are concerned assumes a significant role in the female protagonists' advancement and personality development in the Canadian-American setting.
