Paper Title
Detection of COVID 19 through X-rays using CNN and Transfer Learning

Abstract
The global spread and suffering of the Coronavirus pandemic has seen loss of lives, jobs and more so a chaotic widespread of fear and uncertainty of almost everything. People have been confined, some forced and some voluntarily but done so to prevent the rapid spread of the virus. In such a scenario, it is still a tedious task to get a test done due to the immensely overwhelming numbers. The gold standard for testing for COVID-19 is Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR). The current data suggests that RT-PCR is only 30-70% effective for acute infection, which can be due to incorrect use of lab kits or not enough virus in the blood at the early stages of testing. [14] This paper presents an alternative, though still nascent, a way to get a verdict whether a person suffers from COVID-19 or not depending on their chest X-ray scans and using Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and transfer learning.
