Improved Pineapples Trimming Skill to Increased Productivity in the Production Line

Abstract
This research is to study the development of fresh pineapple preparation skills in the pineapple preparing process with the two objectives 1). To study how to increase staff’s skills in the production line, preparing fresh pineapples in the process of pineapple picking 2). To increase the skill of preparing fresh pineapples in the process of peel and tweak eyes of the sample group. We have found the problem is at the production process which is required expert skill. However, some staffs lacked experiences, which caused the defect pineapple, and waste the flesh during the operation. Moreover, the individual staff’s performance has never been monitored, so there is unable to control the waste of production. In this study, the researcher, therefore, selected a method to collect the data by selected the sample group 23 staffs from Production line to evaluate the skill and performance. The researcher applied the Feed forward and Feedback training technique to do the exercise, increase the skill and give the advice. The studied result indicates that using Feed forward and Feedback technique by training 23 staffs from production line is certainly developed the skill to the expected standard skill. The productivity is raising within 60 days. +34.60% Capacity Increase and Defected decreased at average -14.46% compared to the current work procedure.
