Implementation Process of Multiple Intelligence Approach to Reinforce the Socio-pragmatic Skills of the Undergraduate Students

Abstract
The observation of the undergraduate’s language proficiency made the researcher to comprehend that the learner’s acquired linguistic tools are not capitalised pragmatically, which prompted the researcher to focus on the socio-pragmatics skills. Thus, this paper concentrates on designing anactivity for the implementation of Multiple Intelligence (MI) Approach in teaching to reinforce the socio-pragmatics skills, a sub skill of pragmatics, to the undergraduate students. Firstly, Content specification is created after analysing the various components of socio-pragmatics. Secondly, group activity is framed for team learning for all the components of socio- pragmatics skills according to the multiple intelligence profile to make the students familiarize with the skills in an amicable and desirous way. Then, the descriptors of the tabulated format specifications are prepared by the researcher. Eventually, after finalising the content and format specification of the socio-pragmatic skills, the implementation process of MI approach is designed to reinforce the socio-pragmatics skills to the undergraduate students.
