Christian’s Psychological Help Seeking Behaviour

Abstract
This study aims to understand if there are difference between liberals and conservative Christians on the basis of psychological help seeking behaviour. The current study follows a quantitative design. All the participants were volunteers from different parts of India who were living in Bangalore. They belonged to different denominations and completed the questionnaire anonymously. The data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between liberals and conservatives in seeking professional psychological help. It was also seen that there were no differences based on age, gender, marital status. Although Education and employment was seen to have a significant differences. To bring the mental health and church closer, new interventions have to be formulated keeping in mind the conservative churches.
